Cheryl goes to Israel

In October 2018, I visited one of the few glass factories still operating in Hebron, Israel. Here I witnessed an artisan blowing and making their signature product, Phoenician glass. The people have held onto this art form for thousands of years by passing it along from generation to generation. 

Minerals found in the area are used to make the beautiful color variations within the glass. 

Many pieces of Phoenician glass are now on display at the greenhouse. I am hoping to create an ongoing business tie with one of the factory owners in Hebron for a continued source for this unique and beautiful glass.
