From the Owners

Marilyn Davis and Cheryl Pelkey have seen many changes in The Brothers Greenhouses since the time we purchased the business in 1996. 

Twenty years ago, the business was mainly a wholesale facility growing a modest selection of plants and delivering those to small retail outlet stores. 

Today, our business has transformed into a retail garden center where most of our clientele includes local customers shopping through our vast variety of indoor and outdoor plants ranging from houseplants, tropical, cacti, succulents, novelties, annuals, vegetables, perennials, fruiting vines and shrubs, fruit trees, native plants, pond plants, air plants, and the list goes on.

Since building our Hobbit House in 2014, visitors have come from around the country to step inside our Tolkien-inspired tiny house. It has been featured on King 5 Evening Magazine, and has appeared on numerous websites including Roadside America, Kitsap Daily News, WestSound Home + Garden, Kitsap Sun,  Yelp, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, Trip Advisor, 365 Things to do in Washington, Visit Kitsap Peninsula, Northwest News for Washington, Nikki Cleveland's Only in Your State, Atlas Obscura, MIC, and Insider to name some "hidden gem" seekers.
